Do you have to be friends with your co-workers ?

I believe that you don't necessarily have to be friends with your co-workers. Although it is better to get along with your co-workers than to be arguing with them. Sometimes its better to leave your friendships out of work because sometimes they can intervene in work. Sometimes people don't know how to behave when working with friends and they mess around too much. People thin that working with friends is better than to be working with people you don't know but i think its better to work with people you don't know. When I worked at jack in the box i worked with a couple friends but I wouldn't slack off because you must take your job seriously.

  1. You have a point. Friends can be a big distraction in the workplace. You just have to learn to work around them. Being friendly is a part of the job. No one can choose who you work with buy it would be best to get along with them.

  4. I agree max, its better to get along with your coworkers than to be arguing with them. It can benefit you to be friends with someone since they can help you out, but you must keep certain friendship with them so it doesn't affect you in the workplace.
